My first wedding of the year is definitely something to celebrate because this means we have officially made it out of 2020!!!! Moving to Arkansas and transferring my life from a Kansas City wedding photographer to an Arkansas wedding photographer, and more importantly a Little Rock wedding photographer, wasn’t the easiest thing in the world. It was hard leaving everything I knew in KC, running a business in a new state, living through a pandemic, and still making time to travel back to Missouri for weddings! But here I am- two years later and FINALLY shooting my first wedding here in Arkansas! This wedding will always mean a great deal to me, and forever will hold a special place in my heart!

To Brian and Julia- thank you for trusting me with your day, your love and kindness spoke volumes to me and I was so happy to be able to be a witness to the start of your forever!

From the moment I walked into the getting ready room, Julia was the most relaxed and basically told me she wanted a chill day full of real moments, and she didn’t want me to focus on any of the material details- but rather put all of my focus into the making the day into images of how she remember it to feel. That right there is MUSIC TO MY EARS! Knowing that Julia wanted her images to give her something to walk away from that was a true representation of how her wedding felt, was all I needed to hear to get my job done. I hope these images do for you what they do for Julia and Brian, and that you are able to dive into this day hearing the sounds of kids laughing, of wedding party cheering, of parents gasping, and of Julia and Brian realizing that they are now Mr. and Mrs. Colley!!!!
