A Private Property Fall Wedding In Wildwood, Missouri

This private property fall wedding in Wildwood, Missouri between Hunter and Collin was held at Hunter’s parent’s house and I don’t think the day could have been any more perfect! This wasn’t Hunter’s original idea for a wedding, but during the inevitable stress of wedding planning she decided to ditch the idea of a big wedding and decided to scale it down to a smaller more intimate home type of plan. I have to say I was a BIG fan, and I hope that this wedding inspires future couples to consider the beauty of a wedding at their own home with just close friend’s and family.

The day started off quite lovely while Hunter got ready in the house with her bridesmaids (which is so so beautiful- like WOW actual goals!!!!!), and then in a quick turn of events we were out the front door preparing for the first look with her future groom, Collin! Their first look, wedding party photos, and couple portraits all happened at the same location at an old train station in Wildwood. That is my absolute favorite way to do photos- when they all happen in the same spot! The fall light was showing off for us and I could already tell this was going to be the most perfect fall wedding ever!

Back at the house guest and family prepared for the indoor wedding ceremony that was surrounded by trophies of Hunter’s dad’s past hunts! It was gracefully decorated with the most decadent flowers and candle lit to perfection! The reception was then held outside by the pool, and the indoor ceremony location was flipped for an indoor option for the reception as well! Everything ran together so smoothly and I know the vision Hunter had for her day was truly coming to life right in front of her.

The events of the day were filled with so much love, I was so lucky to be in such an intimate place where I got witness everything and everyone so closely. I hope these images truly represent what the day was, and all of the beauty Hunter and Collin’s marriage represents. This was truly the most perfect private property fall wedding in Wildwood, Missouri! I really hope that the future years of photographing weddings brings many more opportunities to shoot weddings just like this one! I love being a St. Louis wedding photographer!
