Magnolia Venue & Urban Garden is one of my most favorited wedding venues in all of Kansas City! Deborah is a great vendor to work with and one my favorite things about all of the weddings we do together is the little text I get from her during the wedding day that say “do you need anything?” She truly cares about the other vendors she works with, as well as her own clients!

I love the message behind the name of this venue too, which to quote Deborah, is this: “Clients often ask about the Venue name and how it came to be.  While living in Oklahoma a forty-year-old Magnolia Tree sat right next to my front porch.  Each day started and ended on my porch watching the Magnolia Tree change.  The Magnolia is a strong and beautiful tree, but it takes its time to grow.  I believe that everything comes in its own time and we must be patient as there is a plan for each one of us.  I always knew I would use Magnolia as my business name, it just took a few years to make it happen. Never give up on your dreams, and always have a grateful heart.”

Lydia and Nick’s wedding was a blast, and I felt so welcomed and a part of the party the entire day! Lydia is very kind, and Nick is freaking hoot and a half! I really enjoyed working with them from their engagement all the way to their incredible wedding! Having a wedding in downtown Kansas City might seem stressful, but this crew made it smooth sailing! I wish I could go back and relive this day again, but for now these images will have to do the trick!
