My soul sister. Jaclyn and I originally met over social media (it is 2016 right?), but I have known her older brother all through high school so I guess it’s not that weird. We have been talking about photography for quite a while, giving tips and what not, and we finally got a chance to meet in person when she got a golden retriever puppy named JoJo (of course I had to go meet the puppy, right?). It was kind of surreal meeting Jaclyn for the first time because I have admired her sense of looking at the world, and the way her photography skills have progress over the last year. What is even more surreal was this day we got to spend together. We started off, per usual, talking about Jaclyn’s first wedding coming up in August, over some dinner at Panera. AND THEN….. we got to bond over taking actual photos and playing with her horse Donny. I have never ridden a horse before, and Jaclyn taught me how to ride bare back! It was absolutely perfect, and I wish I could ride horses everyday for the rest of my life. Jaclyn isn’t your average girl either. She is adventurous, caring, funny, and isn’t afraid to speak her mind. I kept telling her that if we grew up the same age then we would most definitely be best friends in school. Then I realized that it is never too late to make a best friend. I love this girl already, and I can’t wait for all of the adventures yet to come in our lives. You better watch out Colorado, because Jaclyn is coming for you. I hope you have fun in college and make sure to give Donny lots and lots of kisses for me 🙂
-Sincerely Stephanie-
