As a photographer, you will have to make decisions on the moments you capture, and the moments you don’t. You’ll have to analyze how far you’ll go to capture those moments, and how far you won’t. What I learned today is that moments happen whether you are there or not, but choosing to be there, and going the distance to make it happen, will 9 times out of 10 make you a better photographer. I am beyond grateful that I was able to be present for the birth of baby Sophie, and I can’t wait to watch her grow!
